A legal disclaimer
1. Definitions & Scope

“Client” refers to the person or company requesting the works.

“Citywide” refers to Citywide Roofing Limited.
-
“Works” refers to roofing, guttering, repairs, surveys, maintenance, installations, and related services.

“Contract” is formed once Citywide issues a written Quotation and receives Client acceptance.​

2. Acceptance & Variations
​
By accepting our Quotation, you agree to these Terms. Citywide reserves the right to make reasonable modifications to materials or methods, subject to Client consent.

3. Pricing & Payment
​

A deposit (typically 20–30%) is required upon Quotation acceptance. The balance becomes payable on satisfactory completion.

Late payments (over 14 days past due) will incur interest at 5% annual rate above Bank of England base rate.
​
4. Scheduling & Delays
​

We’ll agree on a Commencement Date; however, weather or other delays may affect this timeline.
-
Postcode-based scheduling applies; significant delays may prompt rescheduling.

5. Client Site Responsibilities & Access
​

Client must provide safe, 240 V power supply, water access, and unhindered site access.

The site must be clear of children and pets; scaffolding and restricted area protocols are mandatory.

6. Guarantees & Warranties
​

All work carries a guarantee (as per Quotation), in addition to statutory rights.

Roof guarantee activates post full payment; defects will be repaired or replaced at Citywide’s discretion

7. Permissions & Planning
​

Obtaining all necessary consents (planning, building regs) is the responsibility of the Client unless otherwise agreed. Citywide can advise but is not liable for delays or refusals.

8. Cancellation Rights
​

You have 14 calendar days post-Quotation acceptance to cancel under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Any site prep costs incurred before cancellation will be charged.

9. Limitation of Liability
​

Citywide’s liability is limited to the Contract price.
-
We exclude liability for consequential losses, except as mandated by law.

10. Intellectual Property
​
-
Citywide retains IP rights in all designs, reports, and materials unless explicitly transferred.
